Richard Miller

Richard is a vice president at Canapi responsible for sourcing and executing new investment opportunities, supporting portfolio companies, and assisting with the day-to-day operation of the firm. Prior to Canapi, Richard was a senior associate at General Atlantic, where he worked directly on investments in Chime, Coalition, Transmit Security, and Albert.

Richard began his career at Morgan Stanley, working in investment banking as an analyst in the financial institutions group and as an associate in the mergers and acquisitions group.

Richard graduated with a double major in math and business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While at UNC, Richard was on the varsity track and field and cross-country teams. Outside of work, Richard enjoys running, biking, and spending time with his family.
