Eric Schwartz

As Operating Partner, Eric is responsible for leading the Canapi Alliance and LP Engagement to deliver strategic and financial value to our network of financial institution LPs and portfolio companies.

Prior to Canapi, Eric led the Strategy and Optimization practice for the Americas at Promontory Financial Group. In that capacity, he and the team advised fintechs and other non-banks with their business, regulatory, and risk strategies. During his 13 years at Promontory, he also designed and implemented the client coverage program for the Americas, focusing on sales and business development efforts for new and existing clients.

Prior to Promontory, Eric was a founding employee and manager at IntraFi Network (formerly Promontory Interfinancial Network), a fintech specializing in innovative investment and cash-management products for the banking and brokerage industries. Eric earned a B.S.B.A in finance from Georgetown University.
